Our food tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide Solene was knowledgeable, fun, and made our experience the absolute best (even in the freezing cold)!! The food was delicious and we learned a lot about the neighborhood of Montemart, and Paris in general. I would absolutely recommend!!!
All of our 8 stops with Secret London Food Tours were filled with locals, and not tourists so it felt like a private city tour. We learnt history and stories about London that we most probably wouldn't have discovered otherwise.
The food was absolutely delicious. You get to try a scotch egg, which was perfect! Also a pork sausage roll from one of the best places in London! We even got to try UK's most famous donut :)
We very much enjoyed our 3 hour Secret Food Tour in Rome. Guide Tommaso is so knowledgeable and very passionate about both food and local history and he works hard to provide a unique experience. This tour was one of the highlights of our six weeks in Europe and we highly recommend it to anyone. Don't eat much for breakfast before the tour!
I was treated as a special and welcome visitor to Berlin by Karl. He clearly loves Berlin, as well as the food it offers, and introduced me to a range of new tastes. He is also an excellent communicator, sharing stories of East Berlin and how it was affected throughout the years of the wall. I recommend this trip without reservation. Thanks Karl, well done.
Food tours are one of my favorite ways to discover a city. My husband and I only had a few days in Barcelona and were so excited to have the chance to partake in the Secret Food Tour. We met Miguel and learned that we were the only people who had signed up for the tour that day! From speaking to Miguel, we learned that he makes sure that his tours are always pretty small so that he can provide participants the attention they deserve but it was a special treat for us to essentially have a private tour. To make things even better, because it was just the three of us, Miguel was able to take us to one of his favorite restaurants that is normally too busy for him to travel to with small groups.
In addition to the food, Miguel shared so much about the history and character of Barcelona. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
During three and a half hours our guide Jorge not only made us familiar with the cornerstones of Spanish history and the central parts of Madrid, but also took us to a few hidden gems of the capital's gastronomy mainly frequented by locals only. Both his selection of various tapas (the "bocadillos de calamares" were outstanding!), sweets and drinks (we didn't expect to drink cider on this tour) and his explanations were proof of his enthusiasm for the city. We can only recommend this tour to everyone visiting Madrid!
I had the chance to get a private tour and was impressed by the amount of secret places that Carmen showed to me. We visited beautiful parts and places without any tourists and great authentic atmosphere. Food was very tasty and carefully selected by Carmen. She also explained to me a lot of things about her home city and gave me great tipps for the next days. Thank you!
I would definetly recommend the Shoreditch pub crawl. Met in the Blueberry Bar.... just remember the guy waits outside for you to start the crawl not inside like we thought! Every bar we went to was so good and the music was brilliant. A great way to see Shoreditch when your not sure where to go or even just to try different bars! It was a right mixture of people from all over the world so great to get to know everyone. Would definetly recommend it and would do it all over again!!
Listen.... IT WAS AMAZING!!! Hands down the best time I had in Paris that I went 2 nights in a row! Marilia was the BEST tour guide making sure everyone had a great time and we did. Each night out the groups were so much fun and welcoming! Mouna, the other AMAZING tour guide, just had the most fun with everyone and genuinely was interested in knowing everyone, was definitely the best part about Paris! Impossible bar crawl to top! If you meet Mouna tell her Matt said hello hahah!!!
